Vanilla Custard

PREP TIME: 5min

COOK TIME: 5min SERVES: 2-4

INGREDIENTS:

  • 3 eggs

  • 4 cups milk

  • 3 tsp vanilla essence

  • 1/3 cup cornflour

  • 1/4 cup sugar


METHOD:

  • Step 1: Combine all ingredients in a saucepan.

  • Step 2: Place saucepan over medium heat.

  • Step 3: Bring mixture to boil, whilst continuously stirring.

  • Step 4: Lower heat and cook for a further 2 ½ minutes.

  • Step 5: Remove cooked custard off heat.

  • Step 6: Serve cool or warm.
