Teriyaki Salmon

INGREDIENTS:

  • 1kg Salmon, filleted

  • 2 garlic cloves, minced

  • 1 tsp ginger powder

  • ¼ cup soy sauce

  • ¼ cup water

  • 1 tsp sesame oil

  • 2 tbsp brown sugar

  • 1 tsp corn flour

  • 1 tbsp rice wine vinegar

  • 2 spring onions, finely chopped

  • 2 tbsp sesame seeds

  • Spray oil

  • Salt

  • Pepper


METHOD:

  • Step 1: Preheat oven to 180°C and line a large baking dish with baking paper.

  • Step 2: Place the filleted Salmon in the baking dish.

  • Step 3: In a mixing bowl combine the garlic, ginger, soy sauce, water, sesame oil, sugar, corn flour and rice wine vinegar. Mix well to form a smooth Teriyaki marinade.

  • Step 4: Pour the marinade into the baking dish over the Salmon. Turn twice, to coat well.

  • Step 5: Lightly season with salt and pepper.

  • Step 6: Spray the fillets with spray oil and cover the dish with foil.

  • Step 7: Cook covered for 60 minutes.

  • Step 8: Sprinkle chopped spring onions and sesame seeds over the cooked salmon to serve.
