Sweet Potato Mash

COOK TIME: 15min SERVES: 4-6


  • 1 large sweet potato

  • 1 tbsp butter

  • 3 tbsp milk


  • Step 1: Peel and chop sweet potato.

  • Step 2: Place chopped sweet potato into a medium size saucepan. Add water to cover.

  • Step 3: Place saucepan over medium heat and bring to boil.

  • Step 4: Lower heat and cook sweet potato covered for 15 minutes or until tender.

  • Step 5: Drain sweet potato from water and add butter and milk.

  • Step 6: Use a fork to mash to a creamy consistency.

  • Step 7: Allow the mash to cool slightly and serve warm.
