Slow Cooker Beef Stew

COOK TIME: 8hrs SERVES: 6

INGREDIENTS:

  • 1kg beef chuck steak

  • 2 celery stalks, chopped

  • 1 onion, diced

  • 3 carrots, chopped

  • 2 garlic cloves, chopped

  • 500g baby potatoes, washed

  • ¼ cup Worchester sauce

  • 1 tsp salt

  • ½ tsp ground pepper

  • 5 bay leaves

  • ¾ cup parsley, chopped

  • 800g canned tomatoes, diced

  • 1 cup water

  • 2 beef stock cubes

METHOD:

  • Step 1: Place all ingredients into a 4.5 litre slow cooker. Mix well to combine.

  • Step 2: Cook on LOW for 8 hours, or on HIGH for 6 hours until beef is tender.

  • Step 3: Serve
