Slow Cooked Sticky Beef Ribs

PREP TIME: 10min

COOK TIME: 8hrs SERVES: 4

INGREDIENTS:

  • 2kg beef short ribs

  • 1 large onion, finely diced

  • 6 cloves garlic, chopped

  • ½ cup tomato sauce

  • ½ cup sweet chilli sauce

  • ½ cup stout beer

  • ⅓ cup soy sauce

  • ½ cup honey

  • ¼ cup flour

  • ¼ cup fresh parsley, chopped

  • ¼ cup spring onion, finely chopped


METHOD:

  • Step 1: Place onion, garlic, tomato sauce, sweet chilli sauce, stout, soy sauce, flour and honey in a 4.5 litre slow cooker. Mix well to combine.

  • Step 2: Add the beef ribs to the slow-cooker and turn to coat and marinade in the sticky mixture.

  • Step 3: Cook on low for 8 hours.

  • Step 4: Garnish ribs with chopped parsley and spring onion to serve.
