Rice Crispy Treats

PREP TIME: 15min



  • 6 cups of Rice puff cereal

  • 300g marshmallows

  • 100g butter

  • 75g White Chocolate Melts

  • 150g colourful chocolate buttons


  • Step 1: Line a 19cm x 28cm slice tray with baking paper.

  • Step 2: Combine marshmallows and butter in a microwave safe bowl, and cook for one minute. Stir every 20 seconds until melted mixture is smooth.

  • Step 3: Place cereal puffs and melted marshmallow mixture in a large mixing bowl. Stir to combine well.

  • Step 4: Spoon sticky puffs into prepared tray. Press puffs in tightly with the back of a spoon and smooth out the top.

  • Step 5: Place White Chocolate Melts in a microwave safe bowl and cook for 40 seconds. Stir every 10 seconds until melted chocolate is smooth.

  • Step 6: Drizzle the chocolate over the top of the slice and sprinkle with 100s and 1000s. Place in the fridge for three hours or until set.

  • Step 7: Remove from tray and cut into bars. Wrap individually with plastic wrap and store in the fridge. Yum!
