Puff Dogs

PREP TIME: 20min

COOK TIME: 30min SERVES: 10

INGREDIENTS:

  • 3 sheets frozen puff pastry

  • 12 hotdogs

  • ¼ cup milk


METHOD:

  • Step 1: Preheat oven to 180°C. Line baking tray with baking paper.

  • Step 2: Remove puff pastry from freezer and allow to thaw.

  • Step 3: Meanwhile, cook hotdogs in a saucepan of boiling water for 5 minutes.

  • Step 4: When the puff pastry has thawed, place it on a flat workspace. With a sharp knife cut each sheet of pastry into 4 equal squares.

  • Step 5: Place one hotdog in each square diagonally and roll the puff pastry tightly around the sausage.

  • Step 6: Place all puff dogs on the prepared baking tray and brush with milk.

  • Step 7: Bake for 25-30 minutes, until pastry is golden.
