500g macaroni pasta
1 litre water
2 cups milk
2 cups mozzarella cheese, grated
2 tbsp flour
½ cup Parmesan, finely grated
Step 1: Place water in a large saucepan.
Step 2: Salt the water with 1 teaspoon of salt and bring the salted water to boil.
Step 3: Once boiling, add the macaroni and cook until al dente (See packet instructions).
Step 4: In a smaller saucepan, add the butter, flour and milk. Place over low heat and stir until it comes to boil.
Step 5: Remove from heat. Mix in mozzarella and parmesan cheese, and stir well to form a creamy cheese sauce.
Step 6: Season the cheese sauce with salt and pepper.
Step 7: Drain the pasta and return back to its saucepan.
Step 8: Add the cheese sauce to the pasta. Mix well to coat and serve.
