Lamb Koftas

PREP TIME: 10min

COOK TIME: 20min SERVES: 4

INGREDIENTS:

  • 500g lamb mince

  • 1 onion, grated

  • 1 garlic clove, crushed

  • 1 tsp cumin

  • 1 tsp paprika

  • 1 tbsp coriander, chopped

  • 1 tbsp parsley, chopped

  • ½ tsp salt

  • ¼ tsp ground pepper

  • Spray olive oil


METHOD:

  • Step 1: Soak 8 bamboo skewers in a bowl of water for 15 minutes.

  • Step 2: Combine all ingredients in a mixing bowl. Use your hands to mix all ingredients together.

  • Step 3: Divide the lamb into 8 balls.

  • Step 4: Insert a bamboo skewer into each ball. Shape each ball around a skewer to form a kofta.

  • Step 5: Spray each kofta with oil and grill on a hotplate or bbq.

  • Step 6: Cook koftas for 15-20 minutes or until lamb is cooked through.

  • Step 7: Serve with your choice of dipping sauces.
