SERVES: 4-6
INGREDIENTS:
400g canned chickpeas
3 garlic cloves
1 lemon, juice squeezed
2 ½ tsp ground cumin
1 tsp salt
1 ½ tbsp tahini
1 tbsp paprika
⅓ cup water
⅓ cup olive oil
METHOD:
Step 1: Drain canned chickpeas, rinse under water and place in a food processor.
Step 2: Add all other ingredients to the food processor. Puree with the chickpeas until a creamy, smooth Hummus forms.
Step 3: Serve the Hummus in a dip bowl, alongside pita bread and chopped fruit and vegetables for dipping.
