Hummus Dip

PREP TIME: 15min

SERVES: 4-6

INGREDIENTS:

  • 400g canned chickpeas

  • 3 garlic cloves

  • 1 lemon, juice squeezed

  • 2 ½ tsp ground cumin

  • 1 tsp salt

  • 1 ½ tbsp tahini

  • 1 tbsp paprika

  • ⅓ cup water

  • ⅓ cup olive oil


METHOD:

  • Step 1: Drain canned chickpeas, rinse under water and place in a food processor.

  • Step 2: Add all other ingredients to the food processor. Puree with the chickpeas until a creamy, smooth Hummus forms.

  • Step 3: Serve the Hummus in a dip bowl, alongside pita bread and chopped fruit and vegetables for dipping.
