Honey Soy Chicken Wings

COOK TIME: 50min SERVES: 6

INGREDIENTS:

  • 1 kg chicken wings

  • 1 tsp salt

  • ¼ tsp ground pepper

  • 2 tbsp olive oil

  • 2 tbsp butter, melted

  • 1/2 cup honey

  • 1 cup soy sauce

  • 1 tbsp ginger powder

  • 2 tbsp ground coriander

  • 2 garlic cloves, minced

  • ¼ cup orange juice

  • ¼ cup fresh coriander, finely diced


METHOD:

  • Step 1: Preheat oven to 180°C degrees and line a large baking dish with baking paper.

  • Step 2: Place the chicken wings in the baking dish.

  • Step 3: Pour the olive oil, butter, orange juice, honey and soy sauce over the chicken wings.

  • Step 4: Season the wings with salt, pepper, ginger and ground coriander.

  • Step 5: Turn to coat and marinade in the mixture.

  • Step 6: Sprinkle fresh coriander over the wings and bake for 50 minutes or until chicken is cooked through.

  • Step 7: Serve.
