Hawaiian Pizza

PREP TIME: 10min

COOK TIME: 20min SERVES: 4

INGREDIENTS:

  • 2 family size pizza bases

  • 1 x 400g tin crushed tomatoes

  • 1 x 400g tin pineapple, diced

  • 150g shredded ham

  • 1 tbsp olive oil

  • 1 tsp dried oregano

  • ½ tsp salt

  • 1 tsp garlic, minced

  • 250g Mozzarella cheese


METHOD:

  • Step 1: Preheat oven to 180°C. Grease two pizza trays with spray oil.

  • Step 2: Lay a pizza base on each tray.

  • Step 3: In a small bowl, combine the crushed tomatoes, olive oil, oregano, salt and garlic. Mix well.

  • Step 4: With a spoon evenly spread a thin layer of the tomato mixture on top of each pizza base .

  • Step 5: Sprinkle a second layer of mozzarella cheese.

  • Step 6: Top pizzas with a combination of ham and pineapple.

  • Step 7: Spray each pizza with olive oil and cook in the oven for approximately 15-20 minutes or until base is crisp and cheese is melted.
