INGREDIENTS:
Patties
500g lamb mince
1 onion, grated
1 tbsp garlic, minced
1 tsp cumin powder
1 tsp ground paprika
1 tbsp ground coriander
1 tbsp dried parsley flakes
½ tsp salt¼ tsp ground pepper
Spray olive oil
Salad
100g sliced Kalamata olives
1 Cucumber, sliced
1 coz lettuce, shredded
10g mint leaves, chopped
¼ red onion, finely diced
3 tbsp olive oil
¼ cup balsamic
¼ cup lemon juice
½ tsp salt
Serve with
12 pita pockets
200g Tzatziki dip
METHOD:
Step 1: Combine all patty ingredients in a mixing bowl. Use your hands to mix all ingredients together.
Step 2: Divide the patty mixture into 8 balls and slightly flatten to form a patty shape.
Step 3: Spray each patty with oil and grill on a hotplate or bbq.
Step 4: Cook patties for 15-20 minutes or until lamb is cooked through.
Step 5: Serve in pita pocket, with salad and Tzatziki dip.
