1 free-range egg
1 thick slice wholemeal bread
Step 1: Gently place the egg into a saucepan of boiling water.
Step 2: Boil the egg for exactly 4 minutes.
Step 3: Carefully remove the boiled egg from saucepan and place into an egg cup.
Step 4: With a knife slice the top off the egg.
Step 5: Toast the slice of bread.
Step 6: Butter the toast.
Step 7: Chop the crusts off the toast.
Step 8: Cut the toast into 2cm strips.
Step 9: Serve the toast strips alongside the egg cup, for dipping and soaking up the egg yolk.
