Creamed Rice Pudding

PREP TIME: 5min

COOK TIME: 35min SERVES: 5-6

INGREDIENTS:

  • 40g white rice

  • 1 tsp vanilla essence

  • 1 ½ cups milk

  • Strawberry jam


METHOD:

  • Step 1: Combine rice, milk and vanilla essence in a saucepan.

  • Step 2: Place saucepan over medium heat and bring to boil.

  • Step 3: Lower heat and cook covered for 35 minutes or until creamy.

  • Step 4: Remove cooked pudding off heat.

  • Step 5: Place pudding in small bowls and allow to cool slightly.

  • Step 6: Use strawberry jam to decorate with fun smiley faces and serve warm.
