INGREDIENTS:
400g tinned chickpeas
250g frozen broad beans
1 onion, finely diced
1 ½ tsp cumin powder
1 ½ tsp ground coriander
2 garlic cloves, minced
2 tbsp plain flour
1 tsp salt
¼ tsp ground pepper
Spray olive oil
METHOD:
Step 1: Preheat oven to 200°C.
Step 2: Line a large baking tray with baking paper and spray oil.
Step 3: Place all ingredients in a food processor to form a smooth paste.
Step 4: Roll the paste into 12 balls and place the balls on the baking tray.
Step 5: Lightly spray the falafels with spray oil and bake for 25 minutes or until golden.
