INGREDIENTS:
Filling
4 apples, peeled, cored and diced
2 tbsp lemon juice
3 tbsp caster sugar
½ tsp ground cinnamon
2 tbsp water
Crumble
1 cup plain flour
½ caster sugar
½ tsp ground cinnamon
200g unsalted butter melted
3/4 cup rolled oats
METHOD:
Step 1: Pre-heat oven to 180°C.
Step 2: In a large mixing bowl combine apple, lemon juice, sugar, cinnamon and water. Mix together well.
Step 3: Pour apple filling into a large baking dish.
Step 4: Create crumble by placing flour, sugar, cinnamon, oats and butter into the empty mixing bowl. Stir together to combine.
Step 5: Spoon crumble mixture over apple filling and bake for 40 minutes or until golden.
