3 large carrots
½ tsp butter
Step 1: Peel and chop carrots and apples.
Step 2: Place chopped carrots and apples into a medium size saucepan. Add water to cover.
Step 3: Place saucepan over medium heat and bring to boil.
Step 4: Lower heat and cook carrots and apples covered for 5 minutes or until tender.
Step 5: Drain carrots and apples and puree with the butter, using a stick mixer or blender.
Step 6: Allow the puree to cool slightly and serve warm.
